Being a Vaquero or a Vaquera

What to expect

Our Season

Season Length

Our club baseball and softball season runs from August through March, offering players a full development cycle that includes practices, local games, scrimmages, and tournament play. This schedule allows athletes to grow their skills over time while balancing school and family commitments.

We focus on consistent progress and team building throughout the season, with opportunities for off-season training, team bonding events, and community involvement as part of the experience.

Practice Location

All practices will take place in Sahuarita, AZ, at one of the town’s local parks. Specific locations may vary based on field availability, but common sites include Wrightson Ridge Park, Anza Trail Park, or Anamax Park

Parents and players will receive detailed practice schedules and locations before the season begins. Our goal is to keep practices convenient, consistent, and accessible for all families.

Tournaments

Our teams will participate in a variety of tournaments throughout the season, primarily located in Southern Arizona, with popular locations including Tucson and Phoenix.

Tournament selection will vary by age group, skill level, and coaching strategy. Each team’s coach will determine the specific tournaments based on what’s best for player development and team growth.

Families will receive plenty of notice for travel and scheduling. Our focus is on providing quality competition, great experiences, and memorable moments on and off the field

Fees & Payment Information

Players are responsible for a one-time registration fee, followed by a monthly team fee throughout the season. These fees help cover essential costs such as field rentals, equipment, uniforms, tournament entries, and more.

We proudly offer a sibling discount to make it more affordable for families with multiple athletes.

Please note: Travel costs (such as hotel, meals, and transportation) for out-of-town tournaments are not included in the monthly fees and will be the responsibility of each family.

More details, including exact amounts and payment schedule, will be shared during registration.
